N.O.S. Raptor price question

I found a NOS never fired Raptor for 175 bucks. Is that a good buy? It would be used in a vintage racing kart but not raced....just for fun. Depending on gearing, how fast could the cart go with no engine mods? Thanks!

I bought a Raptor engine completely disassembled that needed to be over-sized for $175 shipped. I was pleased to pay that.

i paid $100 for mine, mine came with the starter and it is bored .40 over, and runs on methanol, came with 5 gallons of free meth, so i am really pleased, gonna make a drag bike, the previous owner said in his kart he got up to 85mph with this powerhouse.

Yes we are pretty close
