Need Help with Doodlebug Brake

Hi,

I bought this roller a few months ago and I am about to start gathering some parts and have it blasted. It has no brake setup on it now. Looks like it has some sort of drum built into rear sprocket. Does anyone know where I can get replacement parts for this or any other suggestions for a good brake setup for it?

Hi Jeremy. It looks like you have the original Fox wheels there. That's a great start. I have a parts list for the doodlebug that calls out for a 72t wheel hub and drum-sprocket assy. Mine is a trailbug which had a 60t sprocket. If it's original, I think you'll find the hub and sprocket are one piece. The original brake was a bendix 5" drum brake. I have an Azusa brake in mine which are available here from OldMiniBikes.
