Guy's. I just bought my son a Baja DB 30-v. He loves it but I'm not impressed. I need help getting more power out of this thing. Any tips and tricks are appreaciated. Also, It seems to lose power the more warm it gets.
There is a good solution; there is a jackshaft kit available for them to get a lower gear ratio. The loss of power when the engine gets up to temperature is for sure caused by the engines being supplied with the carb way too far on the lean side. The limp wrested tree huggers demand that be done so that you don't disspoil our pristine environment. Someone that really knows DB-30s will soon post good answers I'm sure. Also go to General Minibike talk and click on Doodlebugs. These guys know what cooks.
