New Bike to Trike Conversion

#1
I picked up a 70s vintage mini bike, brand unknown. Years ago an old friend just added a go cart axle (assumed 36" wide) and turned it into a trike for the street. I would like to duplicate this. Is it that simple? I remember a rear sprocket and one disc brake on rear axle, and wide racing slicks. Any advice pics, would be appreciated.

Straight axels are hard to turn on the street or hard roads. Try and make something like this it is a old TRI-ROD and it has a differential. It will not let me add the picture. Go to my rides it is blue.

To me it all comes down to how many bearings you use to mount a differential. My race trike was live axle but had the power to make it easier to handle.
