New from Texas

New to the forum, just signed up today. Relatively new to minibikes also, got my first one probably 6 months ago. It's a rode hard Murray track 2. Since then three Baja doodlebugs have found their way into the garage. It's a growing addiction. I'll have to figure out how to post pictures and try to get some up on here.

New to site trans planted into Texas.

I'm a Barn find nut. looking under every rock for a clue.
I have a Dirt bug, and my full rebuild is a K&S hornet and I cant wait to get it finished.

Just got a predator 212 tonight for the dirtbug that was my most recent purchase. I've been searching the forum and am still unsure of what exactly the swap will require. I know I can make it work with just the new engine and a new clutch, but I wanna do it right the first time. Is the engine plate I've read about worth it? What about the throttle hookup kit? I already have a 60 tooth rear sprocket. Any thing I'm missing or need to consider? Thanks in advance.
