Hi everyone. I am a new member of this website. Had a couple of minibikes as a kid and really enjoyed riding them. Looking at the members' vintage bike photos had me thinking of building another bike. I built this bike a while back with an electric motor for power. The bike ran decent but really needs a gas engine. I am looking for a suitable engine to power it.
In the meantime, I designed another bike with a larger frame in SolidWorks. It is done except for the brake. Hope to finish it this weekend. This one has a Briggs 3.5hp engine. Since I do not have access to a tube bender, the frame was designed using straight pieces. If anyone is interested in looking at it, PM me with an email address and I will send you the file plus a link to some free software to view it.
Also wrote a program to calc top speed of a bike given engine rpm, tire dia. and gear teeth (with or without a jackshaft). Can send that also if interested.
