New version DB30 question

((background)) Ok first off I'm new here, I've had my bike for about 24 hours lol. I got it from were I work, it was returned to the store because it didn't go fast. haha The store got full credit for it without having to ship it back. I offered the boss man 50$ and he was like okay but I'm not giving you your discount on it. I was so happy all day yesterday. all my childhood I've always wanted a minibike or gokart. (I'm 20) . I've messed around with weed eater engines b4, and I've got a little experience with 4 strokes..

I drove it this morning after removing governor and it hit 21 mph.... I did some cutting on the stock exhaust and tested it and got 27 mph,, I'm using my tomtom haha.. I was wondering if there is anybody here who souped up the stock engine, like porting, exhaust, carb,.. anything like that.. and has anybody tried a gas/alcohol mixture in these? 97cc baja doodlebug,, plastic fender version lol

I make a carb rejet kit for it. There are other things in the works for the little motor like headers, not ready yet, but I can get better than 35 with a header, a carb rejet, and the governor set to 5100 rpms. have you put more air in the tires yet? Try about 20 or so if you havn't also your motor is not yet fully broken in I bet and it will run a bit faster after the rings set in more.

The bottle neck that kept it at 27 was the carb,, the engine couldn't get enough air or fuel, so it would sputter until it got in a groove then it was pretty smooth but it only got out of the groove going down hill... I didn't count the downhill speed cause well its just wrong lol. btw I weigh 200 Lbs, I'm prety sure that i'm going to get an animal B&S engine whenever the one thats in it dies out, cause tomorrow i'm going to put it through hell, trying out different mixtures of alcohol/gas. i'm thinking 1/4 . just to see if there is any difference in anything ha.
