Other Hobbies

The thread that I74 has started on RC aircraft has me thinking about hobbies that I’ve had over the years.

It seems like I get heavily involved in something for 5 - 10 years, then my interest wanes and I get into something else.

So while I’m currently vested in mini bikes, I am gathering supplies to start blacksmithing.

Over the past 25 years SOME of the things I’ve been involved in are:

motorcycles
guitars
kayaks
two line stunt kites
Geocaching
running
Arduino microcontrollers
wood turning

So, what kind of other activities have you folks been involved in, past OR present?

I have a friend whose dad is a blacksmith….he collects anvils??? I think he still even straightens horse shoes at 70….by hand….
Now I read this and it makes it sound like he’s a super hero….he uses a hammer not pure strength….hand pounds….at 70+…it’s very hard….
