What a shock. He just posted on this forum or Facebook about a build he just finished so it must of been sudden. Mark was perhaps the best & most knowledgeable Tecumseh rebuilder EVER! Rest in peace.
I haven't been around much lately, but I picked up a bike a few months back and needed some parts. Mark was more than willing to help me out despite the parts being exceedingly rare and hard to find. He was a wealth of knowledge and is a substantial loss to the hobby. I can't imagine the loss his family is experiencing and my heart goes out to them.
Wow, this sucks. I'm sorry to hear he passed. It seems like Markus was doing what he loved right up to the end. I hope he's smiling down on us right now as we continue the passion he shared.
Loss for words, his builds were second too none and he seemed like the coolest fella too be around.
Thank you mark for all your help you will Surely be missed.
This is so sad, and so sudden! I was in complete shock when I heard the news yesterday. What a bummer, he will be missed by all for sure. He had so much knowledge and was willing to share with anyone. And what a sense of humor! We had a friendly competition going on for years with the advertising thread and just last week I sent him a tool that had his last name on it with a cool logo. Didn't tell him what it was, just sent it as a surprise and we were messaging about it on Friday morning. He seemed stoked and told me he'd use it on his paint jobs in the future.
My condolences to his family
Godspeed, Sir.
Thank you for all the correct answers, over the years.
You’ll be missed.
Thoughts & Prayers of comfort & peace to the Family, from his “Minibike Family”.
