Please help identify Mini Bike Chopper make and model

#1
Hi Guys,
Just acquired this Chopper and I have searched high and low for a serial number or manufactures stamping.
I do know the past 20 years history of the bike, so I know it's older than that.

I'm mostly confident the Tecumseh engine on it is not the "style" that would have been original.

What little I have found, it "looks" like a Ruttman Mini Chopper yet I'm uncertain.

Let me know if you can provide me some ideas, direction, advertisement papers, on brand and year's produced.

Looking for your assistance Please!
Glenn

I searching to find out what these would have sold for new.
Anyone know where I could find that information?
Thank you,
Glenn

I haven't seen any old ads for that model. If it helps, the choppers usually ran about $50 more than the equivalent straight frame bike. Based upon what I have seen, that would put your model close to the $180 mark. That would be competitive with similar bikes, from other makers, during that period.

:D Yea those were a little higher priced than that in the 2000's when they were made....The old price lis that used to be on the internet for that version from around the year 2000 has disappeared in the last few years but a few years later when they were yellow they priced them ala kart style and they were an arm and leg. Sorry this info does not copy and paste well because of the way it downloaded but the info is from an old price list (scroll down for the text/pricing) @Glenn hope that helps ya a little bit.

Thank You Marcus,
This is very helpful as mine is from 1997-99 time frame to the best of my knowledge.
As soon as I make time to pull the engine and get the serial number, then I'll know for certain.

Good info, Markus. I wasn't even aware anyone was building a chopper frame mini into the 21st century.

That said, I would have ignored it, had I seen it anyway. At that price point, I'll rebuild a couple old style choppers.

Looks like a first edition little Indian on the engine mounting plate should be a lasered mark that says little Indian on the left hand side of the plate you can see it under the paint. Also mine is a two piece frame like the black one in the picture. But I think I assembled my two piece frame incorrectly I think the tabs on the bottom part of the frame should be on the outside of the top can anyone enlighten me? 20190413_175923.jpg 20190413_175923.jpg
