If you're lucky enough to have an original Powell throttle or might own one someday you may want this. It is the end that get swaged onto the cable for the little rack & pinion mechanism. If the old one is missing, teeth are stripped, or the cable breaks....you will be out of luck without one of these.
To install it you simply cut the end of the cable square, lay it in the recess, and stake it with a round punch as per factory.
As much as I love the OldMiniBikes Warehouse you are not going to find one of these 50 year old obsolete parts there....and you aint gonna file one out of a block of aluminum! It's a fairly intricate little piece with the teeth, dovetail and cable pocket.
