Predator 212cc cold start

#1
How do they start @ 20-25F?
My experience with Kohler 6.5 HP is not very good. It takes many retries with electric starter. Pull start can produce only single ignition on each pull.
But at 40F it starts on first pull.
Is it going to be the same with Predator? If so I guess I'll need electric starter.

The thing is, its rarely the engine's fault for not starting in cold weather. The problem is with carb jetting. Im sure the engine was optimized to run from 35 degrees to 90 degrees on the jet that came installed in the carb on the engine. In colder weather you need a bigger jet to accommodate the increase in air density the engine is seeing.

If you took that carb off and put it on a Predator (pretend that the engine cc's are the same), the Predator would probably experience the same problems you are in cold weather. Its all about jetting.

I started to suspect the same. And 10% ethanol in gas does not help.
Reading EPA recommendation it says that for small engines using E10 to replace main jet with next size
