My wife just thinks I'm crazy. She's an ICU trama nurse and won't even touch a bike now. 95% of her patients are motorcycle accidents. :(

95% that seems pretty high and or does that mean nobody can ride there motorcycles proper in that area:confused: most of the time it is cars that cause all the carnage  40000 killed a year with millions injured :eek:ut: cars should be outlawed :hammer:

Probably idiots trying to be stuntmen on sport bikes.

First Evening I lived in my first house I had bought. I'm sitting on the front porch enjoying a nice cold adult beverage and I hear a sport bike coming up the road. He is about 100 yards away, pulls it into a wheelie, went over back wards, the bike skidded between my front porch and the fire hydrant. Maybe 10 feet in front of me. Bike stopped on my property, tore up my yard. I walked into the grass, picked up the license plate and stuck it in my back pocket. He came to get his bike I told him he better wait the cops are on their way, that he was going to pay to fix my yard. He got on his bike drove off. Cops showed up about 5 minutes later and I handed them the plate.

I hope he learned a good lesson. I got my yard fixed as well.

yeh, my wife did not want a mini bike either.. ive personally owned a real motorcycle since the age of 15... and have had one every year since... been riding since very very little, prob 5-6 years old... so am very comfortable on two wheels...

once i got this roller, which i bought to steal the front end, she went from, she wouldnt ride one, to it looks nice and she may ride it... so i told her i would put a slightly bigger motor on it, because the stock was too fast for her and then let her ride it, if she wants it, she can have it, if not, then i will carry out my initial plans... soon as i put the motor on it, she started telling me what else she wanted done to it (wants it quiet, etc)... smh! so im pretty sure its hers now... the hilliard clutch i put on it is not working properly so i need to resolve that, other than that it should ride nice for her first mini bike

Well there are a lot of old people on this area, but mostly people being stupid / drunk etc. I always wanted a street bike but settled for dirt bikes / riding/ racing. With having young kids I was always afraid of getting taken out on the street.

Oh yeah he's been riding since he was very little. Just posted a video of a little race we did in another tread of mine. He's not so little anymore... 15years old and 6' 3" ... taller than me now.

thats right got to ride with the fam  i hope your son is on point so you can hook him up with a sweet mini :scooter:
he is getting there, still slightly better than the typical teenager at this point, but he is human... one thing for sure, though, he will have to hook himself up with a mini... i provide all the avenues and doorways for whatever he is willing to work for... all up to him from there... as much as ive shown him, or have tried to show him... he should be able to build one himself... i had to step back and let him actually experience some of how life works, instead of trying so hard to protect him from it... life is for the living

That is one of the hardest things to do as a caring parent.

Exhaust looks and sounds good. I mean...it still sounds Chinese and stuff, but you know.... :scooter: Good to see you posting again.

thank you... i will start posting again very soon... i am doing quite a bit behind the scenes and trying to get some great progress before i post any real updates... lots of changes being made to a couple of my projects, but it just seems like im posting a bunch of mock up or test and tune type stuff... so trying to weed some of that out and post something more definitive coming up here soon
