Pure Stock Winber Parade Ride

#1
as some of you know i have had trials and tribulations trying to complete
a winber parade. this year i am taking no chances. no last minute builds
with crappy throttle cables, no running of out gas or oil, no excuses.

i started out with an mx roller trying to put a torque converter on it. no
good, too much work too risky. risk is not an option :hammer:

changing over to a front peg with a stock clone engine, regular clutch:

the forks are at the office. the wheels i ordered are in USPS Hell somewhere
between Cape Girardeau, MO and Redwood, NY.

missing still are the rear shocks, tires, and jackshaft.

slow progress. waiting for all the parts to arrive before final assembly. i decided to use
a bonanza clutch cover that evil ed made. also, credit is due to ed for lengthening the
swing arm. he did that a few years ago then i got busy again and the swing arm sat
waiting for a project, well here it is ed!

this does look like a ripoff of chippers' really cool yellow BC. in part it is because he
inspired me to get this thing going after sitting around on my a$$ for three + years.

hats off to ed and chipper for the work and inspiration. :punk:

i might redo the forks in the same powder color as the swing arm.

You could probably ride to Windber from your house with that tank! lol J/K.
I really like the look of that bike, I`m bringing the sister bike to that for the parade. Blue Bonanza with a Honda motor

getting the roller finished up in the rain. looks like i need 14" shocks!

on the original post the fork tubes were bound making the bike
higher than when the springs were engaged. still looks bad ass.

the handle bars are on now too.

add to winber list:

1 - Put gas in tank.

2 - Find 24" kickstand.

3 - listen to the doctor regarding meds......

I will have at least 4 running bikes if needed. They are at the shop getting carbs redone now. 2 broncs, a clonenanza and a cat built by jeep2003.

Phil I just gotta ask , the forks what in the hell is wrong with them ? Are the bottom tubes custom built extra long models , or just not slid up in the uppers at all . If it's the latter I would think that they could pop out of the uppers .
