RARE 2002 RUPP Trail 90 Scorpion Manual

#1

1000032492.jpg I have several original manuals for a rare 2002 RUPP Scorpion 90 Trail mini bike. My husband and I bought this for our son around 2003. My husband passed away in 2021 and while clearing things out I found these. The bike is long gone but the manuals have been in a drawer. I've looked for RUPP sites but no luck.
I am 100% sure of the model/name/size, etc. We rode the heck out of it while son was small, showing him 'how to do it'.
Could anyone point me in the right direction to sell them? Attached is the front cover. 1000032492.jpg

That's cause they were knockoffs (of a Japanese bike no less) and got sued by Mickey Rupp. A few made it to the public but they got shut down real quick. You can try to sell the manuals here, or might have better luck on eBay. I wouldn't expect to get rich.

So some outfit or enterprise produced some “Rupp” bikes just by slapping a logo on a Japanese mini cycle?
I was about to say that was a fairly modern looking Rupp… The manual is quite the novelty for such an ignominious product.

Thanks for the word; learn so much here.

Hey guys, it’s a genuine Rupp, honest.

See “Rupp Inc.” on the logo versus Rupp Industries which was the real deal if I understand correctly. They appear to have been produced by Chongqing LiFan Group.
