rod length

I have searched till my brain hurts and i cant find a step by step video on how to measure for rod length. Does anyone have a link my motor is the hemi predator. Thanks in advance.

Rod length is measured from the center of the crank end to center of the pin end. If you want to measure it go from top of big end. To the bottom of the sall end and write it down. Then measure bottom of big end to top of small end and write it down. Add the two measurements and divide by 2 and that is your center to center length.

Maybe i didnt ask the right question, i need to find out if my pistons in the hole or not. Ive been told to use a degree wheel and a piston stop, i would just like a video so i dont screw this up.

I measure piston in the hole with a set of calipers.
