Kinda' sad. I'm no expert but that looks quite original to me, but :censure:, look at all that rust! Vintage minibikes seem to be quite rare in SE VA, for whatever reason. I check CL regularly; I see very few vintage bikes in the Norfolk area, more in the Richmond area, but not many, and the ones that are listed are way overpriced, IMO. In case listing ends, I'll mention that it's priced at $3,000.

I saw that a few days ago. If I recall correctly, that bike belonged to Davy Jones. At least, that might explain the rust and the price tag :laugh:

I bet every single bolt would snap in the process of disassembly.

Other thing is, it appears to be an XL500, but the clutch guard on it is the XL350 style

Looks as though it may have been stored in Davy Jones' Locker!
