San Diego, CA Powell Challenger with front brakes new Tecumseh HS40 $550

#1
Due to unfortunate circumstances I have to sell my Powell Challenger. I was in the middle of a resto-mod but now
I have to sell it. Newly painted frame, black with silver accents. Tires are good and holds air, Chrome still shines.
I'm asking $650. LMK if thats a fair asking price. Local pickup only please.

*Front and rear drum brakes, front being a rare option and not yet hooked up

*Newer Tecumseh HS40 motor with 0 hours, literally a crate motor, engine was
mounted on a cardboard inside a milk crate:laugh:

*Comet Torq A Verter TAV

*Front and rear suspension with rear modified dual shock set up

sorry for your mis-fortune. Pictures will help your sale. Good luck!

and your thread title says $550, but the post says $650

Sorry it's $650. Having a hard time posting pics and editing. You can check out pics in San Diego Craigslist while I sort out the bugs. Thanks.

The seat was removable, now welded in place because the bracket for shocks are welded on it. Ears are welded on each side of the rear suspension arm to accommodate bottom mount on shocks. Shocks are also adjustable.

It didn't come that way , with the rear shocks . But it's not that far gone to fix . Looks like from the brake pedal it's could be a H or J model 1971 or later . The front brake came on the later ones .
If it were local to me it would be mine , not that hard to put back .
