Scat Tracker

#1
Just finished the resto on a Scat Tracker trike. The frame had been streched with steel plate which I removed, then I replaced the steering tube and fixed a couple of cracked welds ,All the bearings and the band brake were replaced. New grips and cables also. A couple of coats of primer and then the frame was ready for gloss black. The broken fiberglass was repaired and painted burgundy. We made a couple of cushions for the seat . As I was assembeling the bike I discovered my new wheels would not fit :censure:!!! ScooterBoy to the rescue ( see saved from scrapyard post ) He kindly traded me his original wheels so I could get my trike done in time for my grandson to ride on his summer trip. My mom always said it's good to have friends  kc57

Man what a job:thumbsup: It's TRI-IFFIC "sorry" I like the texture on the seat, did you do the seat yourself, it looks great as well.

Thanks, I thought the vinyl was cool. It's called (carbon fiber) . The paint is is good ol Rustoleum Rattle can . Actually it's burgundy over a silver base. The silver makes the color a little brighter. kc57

I'm working on re doing a mini scat tracker for my kids, frame is repaired/painted, and am trying to figure out what all I need for a stock brake assembly, the drum is still there, but no band, or mount of any kind. Is there any way you could post what you used for brakes, or a pic or two of the brake assembly?, thanks, by the way, nice ride, looks good

Hi, new to the group, just picked up a mini scat tracker last night, and I am also looking for any info on what parts will fit it. Need a twist throttle and cable, and info for the brakes. I know it uses the strap brake, but dont know what all it will need. Any help or direction to find parts is appreciated.
