Sebac Shock Bushings

#1
I'm thinking about making a mold and reproducing the Sebac shock bushings. Talking to a molding shop, I don't think it can be done for less than $10-12 for a set of 4 pieces. Any interest?

there is a product available called Flexane 94 liquid that can be used to cast the parts. You need to make a mold, this can be made from plaster using the part that you want to copy. There is also a good book on the subject called How to Cast Small Metal or Rubber Parts.

I definately think you would have some inteterest as the Sebac shocks are getting extremely difficult to find. Also, many of the Sebac shocks could be saved if there was a source for bushings. Keep me posted.

....Sure, About twelve people would want them over the course of a year. I'm one.

....People don't even bid for that kind of item on eBay anymore.

....Just no money in it. That's just my two cents on the matter.
