Slanted engine mounting

I have always been curious why Rupp and others mount the engine at an angle and not vertical? Is it mechanical or just design.

From what I have read, it helps with torque converter fitment, and oil control.
Plus it made the bike look like a forward slanted engine motorcycle even though it had an HS40 Tecumseh. Rupp Roadster 2 are definitely stylish and sophisticated for minibikes compared to my DB30 and Arctic Cat Prowler

The junior dragsters also do it to get a straighter shot at the back of the valve, since it is a flathead and the valves are upside down. Or right side up depending on your perspective lol
