Spacer between Sprocket and Tri-star wheel?

#1
Hi everyone,

I'm relatively new to the forum so I hope I'm in the right spot.

I'm trying to mount a non standard engine to an AZUSA minibike kit (Sachs KM 48). When I place my engine on the mounting plate, I have to shift it all the way to the right in order to line up the clutch and the rear sprocket (clutch is mounted in board already), and as a result some of the mounting holes are now off the plate. The first solution that comes to mind is to weld more metal on the mounting plate to give more room, but I'm not really sure if thats my preferred direction.

Has any one heard of or seen a spacer to go between an aluminum tri-star wheel and the AZUSA sprocket?

I think this would accomplish a cleaner look, as well as allow me to center the weight a little better.

Go to OldMiniBikes warehouse and search AZ_2259. That will work for you! I have also trimmed those down to get the right spacing
