Springer forks for a standard mini bike frame

Put together a set of short springer forks for this little frame I had sitting in the corner of the shop , now I have a reason to finish this bike just so I can try out the forks , they make the wheel base about 4" longer than the stock forks that were on it

How much total travel do you get on the front axle, 4"?
Are you going to add some springs to the seat mount to smooth out the ride?

The travel will only be about 2 1/2" at the axle , the wheel base is 4" longer , and no I wont put springs on the seat , I think I will leave that part stock
