This kid was 19. He was part of a pretty good little spree that went on for a month or 2. The "brains" were some older guys,basically career criminals. This was a first offense,and he came clean. Now he's getting it from both sides. All I really wanted was the opportunity to address him. I couldn't threaten him but I basically got to jump his case as if he were my son. Maybe he had never had that happen before. I also told him if it was a stupid mistake,I wished him luck,but if that was the lifestyle he chose,he'd better get used to courts and jails,looking over his shoulder,etc. Sunday night one of the older guys was shot in the face with a shotgun. Not fatal,but he'll be reminded of it every time he looks in the mirror.:thumbsup:
