Does anybody know where I can get steering neck bushings for a Taco22? I tried Some 5/8odby 1/2id and they wouldn't slide into the steering neck. The ones I have semm to be to big for the steering neck. Thanks

I bought some from Mcmaster Carr. The flange was too thick but you can shave it down. Here is before and after pic, and one after it's inserted.

Do you have a part # for mcmaster carr? Thanks
I don't. I purchased them with an 1/8" flange thickness. You'll have to measure the hole in the frame to get the bushing O.D. and match the I.D. to your bolt size. That should be enough to narrow it down.

You will probably have to press the bushings in. Doubt they will slide in.
I've always wondered about this. I've purchased and installed some that slide right in, and others that I have had to tap in (sometimes pretty hard) with a wood block. What is the "general" standard and member concensus here? IF they slide right in are they too loose?
