Tecumseh Engine Tag Rivets

Anyone have any Tecumseh early 70's engine tag push in rivets that have three slots in the head or know of a source for them

Have you searched FleaBay? Once upon a time I was lookin for some GM vin plate rivets. Ebay had them, they were a weebit pricey if'n I 'member correctly.

Maybe search one of Markus threads. I kinda remember him posting about that.

I bought an old craftsman shroud for cheap recently just to get the push rivets. Same ones used on tecumseh.

I checked ebay none available like the factory rivets that I could see, most of the shrouds there listed for HS40 don't have tags I will check other brands. I have viewed some of the projects from Markus I don't remember seeing him cover the rivets if you remember what build it was on that would help.

Hey @Joe51 since you reproduce the tags, do you have a line on the rivets used to attach them ?

If you live in snow country like me. check Craigslist for dead snow blowers, older ones have the proper rivets and sometimes very usable double Indian head carlisle. Sometimes free or very cheap. Also look at old rototilllers and lawnmowers.

I just bought some tags from Joe he doesn't have any rivets. I did check ebay B&S nothing much there, CL in my area doesn't currently have any low priced snow throwers.
