Bought This last night from the son of the original owner... said it has been in the family since new... His Dad only let them ride when he was watching....seats trashed but other than that pretty complete and not beat to death

Nice one, make sure you give that bushing on the t/c driver a bit of oil. Best check maintenance on the rear as well. The rear tire is smaller dia than stock but will probably work well with that sprocket

Thanks...the cap is missing The clear plastic cover... also seems there was a sissy bar that bolts on under the seat that over time looks like it broke off.... but I don’t see the same type on other in this thread

Hello, new to the group. I just picked up an original 361-520 MTD. It does not run. I am looking to restore with my grandsons. I want to keep as original as possible.

Since we are showing more than ugly's here, here is my fun as heal 750 project.
How I found it, then freshly blasted, and few added parts.

These bikes ride and handle a bit differently from others but once accustomed to their characteristics they are a awesome fun machine.

This bike is definitely a keeper at all costs 20211212_113612.jpg 20210425_144256.jpg 20210102_131749.jpg 20210403_170101.jpg

My previous post of my $1.75 ugly still sits as is, and still WAY back on my project list.

looks like that one above has the 12" front wheel. that's a nice addition to the trail flight. i think the later models had that. I too like how the trail flights handle. it is a little different, but it's a good different. and the 12" front wheel helps with handling too. The 12" wheel Trail Flight is one of the best handling mini bikes out there. That and Speedway models (both 10" and 14" wheel varieties.) Rupp is up there too.

Something about the rake and that big 12" wheel way out front inspires confidence diving into corners and going down steep hills.

I'm amazed at the ride quality of the oe suspension on these
This bike "floats" over the rough trails like a big Ole caddy and stays stable while doing it.
My old 72 rupp scrambler would've bucked me all over on that same trail if I didn't take it easy.
I feel the rupp was definitely a more all around solid feeling nimble bike though....miss that particular bike.

Two complete different animals.
