Hi,Not exactly tech but I cant remove the inner part of the drive unit of my Fairbanks Morse T/C from my H35. Any help? Thanks
I know this is from 11/2018 but I had exactly the same problem.
What I did was, using my snap-on harmonic balancer puller, using a piece of 3/16 plate, cut a 1" notch to fit around the crankshaft and drill 2 holes in the plate to attach with bolts to the puller. Comes right off.
And on the flywheel, tap the 3 holes to 1/4 x 20 thread, use same puller to remove the flywheel.
Everybody should own a harmonic balancer/steering wheel puller. Almost handy as a 10mm socket
