$1000 obo, Tote Gote 675 trail bike, Located in Brea, Calif., about a 1963, original condition with repairs done to keep it operating, 6 HP Briggs and Stratton model 142302, oil bath air cleaner, shaft drive with original Bonham climb-away clutch and neutral/drive lever intact.
Runs great, idles perfect and drives good, original Armstrong rear lug tire and Firestone front tire, tubes still hold air, does have new rubber motor/suspension mounts and drive belt, original mounts and a new set of rubber foot peg covers included.
Hand grips are all original, gas tank had a hole soldered in it and it was red coated about ten years ago, fuel line and fittings replaced. Carb was rebuilt about 10 years ago with needle and seat, jet and float replaced.
Cables and brakes are all original, rear disc brake needs adjusting, front brake works like new. Original bar levers with ok chrome/no pitting.
Side screens are reproduction I made by hand, they fit pretty good, the gauge of the expanded metal screen material was special order and very similar to the obsolete style Bonham used.
Rust is minimal. There was some forming on the pan behind the riders seat which I carefully sanded off a few years ago which seems to have stopped it. Surface rust is also present on the frame tube adjacent to the gas tank. It needs to be touched up with a similar paint or repaint the whole bike. I like the appearance of the bike so I never wanted to.
Decals could be much better. The original nova decals are dull. The one on the right the graphic has worn off and the other is pretty close to being worn off but legible. The front tote gote decal is there with minor scratches.
California Tote Gote, I purchased it from up north near Napa where someone had acquired it from the original owner who was a dealer that
had parked it in a barn.
