i have a couple Fox 198 models. One has a predator style motor, the other an HS50. It's a fun model but my one complaint is the footpeg placement... it feels "cramped" to me riding it. No real way to fix that either (at least not easily.) But it's a fun model. The HS50 is a little too small for the wheel size though. Mine has a Dynocam245 installed and slide carb, so that helps a lot. The one with the predator really seems more appropriate, but just looks awful. http://www.pinrepair.com/minibikes/p/fox1973thunderbolt198_mine1.jpg http://www.pinrepair.com/minibikes/p/fox1973thunderbolt198_mine3.jpg

i'm pretty sure it's either a 9 tooth or 10 tooth jackshaft sprocket. if you're running a tecumseh i would go 9 tooth. with a predator you can do 10 tooth.
