Valve size H50

#1
Hello all.
does the H50 have 2 different valves?
As in, is the exhaust valve different from
The intake valve?

I have 2 new valves (27877A). I thought they were interchangeable, but I want to be sure.

thanks

while the valves are the same size seat on at least the older medium frame H, that is an intake valve and cannot be used on the exhaust, since it is steel. You can go the other way, and use an exhaust valve, but in stock size you may want to compare your stem DIA's as aot of times the exhaust stem is skinnier on the stock size valves. If you had to go "oversize" on your valves due to guide wear, they actually just sell you the exhaust valve for the intake anymore. They do that in the small frame H engines as well up to 3.5HP as they use same size valves too.

27878A is the standard ex valve for the H50. If you need and engine number to work with for parts use H50 65151H that is correct mini bike/recreational application 1968/69 (correct throttle control, ball bearing supported 3/4" output) with 12v 3amp lighting.
