I have those parts all cleaned up for the shocks. Used s.o.s. pads to scrub the rust off the chrome parts. The plan is to paint the lowers black again.
Still waiting for this cold snap to go away so I can roll up my sleeves in the garage. I was reviewing some pics on the way Rupp mounted their front fenders and decided to try to make a similar mounting style. I didn't finish it yet (fingers go numb fast in 17 degree weather) but here's where I'm at so far.
Thanks Eric, I made a smaller brake too. I use that long one to bend clutch covers. Smaller one (5" wide) actually bends up to 1/4" flat stock with no problem.

17 degrees? Wow. I’ve lived in the San Francisco Bay Area all my life. Never had to factor in the Weather to work on a project. We did have a mild Earthquake last week that Shook the House at 3 A.M. It woke everyone up and all I could think of was “Did any of my Mini Bikes fall over?” Can’t wait to see your Custom Build Pat and Thanks for not cutting up a Taco ! :hack:
