What did I buy?

Hello all. New here. I would like to know if anyone has any information on what this is? I picked it up off craigslist.

I'm told that Previous owner bought it used. He stretched the frame 4" in front of the motor plate, raised the bars 2-3", added a scrub brake and made a new seat. It has a Speeco 212cc motor which is mostly unmodified, except for the air box.

Cat 300X

Its sporting a rupp wheel on the front. Rear wheel looks original. I'd say if its structurally sound then ride it and enjoy.
