What does it take to fry a TAV?

I may try this arrangement. The problem is the Shyster sellers who sell a 15 dollar CHI-COM sprocket for 43 bucks plus 10 bucks or more shipping.
How about one of these? Just need to make sure you shim it correctly depending on what you end up going with.

Heat my friend. ....
On all of mine I like the belt on the tight side.. Usually adjustment on the engine forward. .Slipping is building that heat.
And big long hill riding you might have to gear this bike down larger rear sprocket and longer chain will be required...

The 60 tooth sprocket showed up today. I installed it without any real problems. The hole in the center was not am issue and the mounting holes matched perfectly.
I made a new chain.
What is not noted is the teeth of the sprocket are NOT beveled. If your drive gears are not aligned with the rear sprocket you will have problems.
My bike has a chain guard. The larger sprocket requires I add a one inch sheet metal lifter to raise the CG above the top of the new sprocket.
I will be riding the bike in the mountains in the AM. I'll report back on how well/not it works.

I ended up drilling a 2ND hole in the chain guard. The bracket was more trouble than it was worth to make.
We went back to Pine Flats and Deadman trail.
The 60 tooth sprocket was impressive. The higher torque was very apparent as I climbed some very steep, loose rock trails. The TAV worked like a champ. I did have to mind the throttle as if I "goosed" it too much the front wheel would start to climb off of the trail. While the Hawg-Ty is much larger than the Coleman CT200u-EX bike Patric was riding, going over backwards is a concern now, the torque is that much stronger.
We rode 10.3 miles with 60% of it up steep grades.
His chain drive clutch got so hot the oil on the jackshaft chain was smoking badly. We stopped and let it cool for 20 minutes, and even then you could not touch it.
Once cool we were able to ride to the summit with no issues.
Patric did try to jump a mogul that had a 5 foot rise and didn't spot the landing. He landed front wheel first and went over the handle bars onto the trail.
No broken bones, but brother is he going to be sore tomorrow The bike suffered no real damage..
We rode from 7,235 to 8,185 feet ASL on the trails. 2 hours and 50 minutes ride time.
I'll pull the TAV cover and check the drive belt for wear on Sunday.
