WTB: 1960's or 1970's Tecumseh 7hp Engine

Check for used Tec. engines on old Troy-Bilt tillers. They might be 8hp though. I can't remember for sure. I have one T-B with a Kohler, and the other has a Tec. They are tough for sure. Good luck.

Tecumseh 7hp Engine's were found on many MTD Snowblowers
As long as you stay away from Snow King engines,they are made with loose tolerances for the cold weather and do not make good mini bike engines.They will have SK after what engine it is,as an example an 8HP Tecumseh engine like the HM80 would be an HMSK80 if it were a Snow King.

What is it going on? Any preference on crank size? A Lot of the H70's are one inch crank.. Hard to find center fugal clutches for.. If you are using a Tav, a one inch driver is not hard to come by..

3/4 crank will most likely cost ya more..
