    Tecumseh H35 engine crankshaft blues

    Hi all,

    I am trying to rebuild my 1971 Tecumseh H35-45348H engine. Upon taking it apart I found the flywheel was loose on the crankshaft damaging both the crank keyway and flywheel. Some years ago I purchased what was supposed to be a NOS Rupp H35 crank. I pulled it off the shelf and looked it over. One I don't think its NOS and two the rod journal is about .851 inches in dia, way under size.

    Does anyone have an idea of what this crank might be for, it has the 3 inch snoot?

    Since the proper 33085 crank seems to be rare as hens teeth will a Rupp Tecumseh HS40 crank work. I know it has a larger crank journal?

    Does anyone know of a good machine shop that can bore these engines out, since the block is some sort of aluminum alloy I think it takes a special technique?

    Anyone have the specs on the 32555b crankshaft?

    I have one that's in pretty good shape, includes the breaker cam and flywheel nut too.

    The rod journal on mine is .86 ", crank is 2-1/4" x 3/4", tapped and keyed

    I have purchased what I think is a proper 3 inch PTO crankshaft off of Ebay, time will tell once it gets here.
