    The problem is it's got that weird lopsided flange on the engine and I think a lot of those headers are for the other style. I'll stick with the sausage muffler for now and probably get a little extension to get it a little bit out of the way of the carb

    Now that I found out my HS40 is pretty anemic and probably worn out, I'm thinking I'll combine the best parts I have laying around in my HS50 block to put on the bike. I know there are several version of camshaft over the years for these engines and I was curious which would be the best performance wise. The cam that came in my HS50 is the one with the centrifugal compression release and the smaller exhaust lobe, I think my HS40 has the release on the intake valve, and I'm trading an old outboard for a second HS50 with who knows what cam.

    If ya want to make your own header pipe i sell tec hs 40\50 flanges
