    HS50 throttle linkage

I'm starting to put together my Sears Roper with an HS50 off a pressure washer, and right now I'm trying to figure out the throttle situation. It's got the throttle setup like you'd expect on a pressure washer, and I was wondering if anyone has modified this type of throttle for use on a mini bike, or if I should just buy another throttle assembly, and if so, what part number I should get. My engine is Sears branded and the model number is 143943009, but the 1 could be an i, it's hard to make out.

How about one like this? I get 38.00 shipped. Would need a few days to make it up for you. Mini bike correct.

If you have one with a thumb throttle, you can modify it. It's in this thread: https://www.oldminibikes.com/forum/t...s-engines.html

why don't people just buy a brand new Tecumseh 730136A assembly? they are $15 from our sponsor OMBwarehouse.

I’m not a huge fan of that assembly. I like the one Joe51 posted much better. Just IMHO

Joe, those look great, I'll definitely be in contact soon. I had the OEM Tecumseh one on my last bike and I was completely underwhelmed. I actually ditched it for a cobbled together Predator assembly. My only trouble is I'm out of money since buying a Honda z50r, and a new transmission for my car, so I think this project will be on the back burner for a little while...

No problem. Whenever your ready. I have approx. 12 sub-assemblies built. Will be finishing up the levers later this week
    Regards,
    Joe
