WTB Tecumseh HS40 Skinny Shroud Pre-‘74

    Hello,

I am in need of an HS-40 shroud, the thin one with the studs that fits the skinny non lighted Rupp flywheel and short starter cup. I have paypal
Would love to see what you have. Doesn’t have to be perfect but should be decent. Surface rust and flaky paint is just fine. No rot though no time for that in my life.

Thanks and have a nice day!

The pre 74 shrouds with studs are the lighted ones.

Ok well I am pretty sure I need a skinny shroud, I have a skinny Rupp flywheel that is non lighted. Maybe it doesn’t need the studs?

So I need a skinny shroud without studs I guess?

    Please forgive my ignorance

Yes but most people refer to it as a curved shroud but the non lighted used Phillips head screws. The non lighted cover should not be used on a lighted engine because the flywheel fins will hit but you can use a lighted one with a non lighted flywheel.

So I don’t need a lighted shroud but I could use one if I had to.
