Don Jackson, formerly of Comet is their tech/rep. He told me that they have been replaced with the "newer" model. MS is totally out of stock and is not planning on obtaining more of the older model.

Material, plating. Some say the newer black ones are built "cheaper" than past models. Idk if they are, just what I've been told.

I'm looking for an NOS 20 series. The TC88 will not match my Comet 20 series driver because its for a 5/8" belt, not a 3/4". The CAT99 being for asymmetric and a 5/8" belt will not do me any good.
