I am overhauling my 80202. I have to go to the .010 piston. For the size to hone the cylinder to. Do I just add .010 to the the small size cylinder bore

it was just as you said the small bolt screwed right in and made its own threads

I was thinking that also, the screw does not look like a self taping screw. its the standard one they use. unless you mean they taped it with the screw and then installed the other screw. Yeah probably will tap it out myself.

If its aluminum should be able to hone the cylinder to the next oversize piston. Ebay has a boat load of parts. I think the over sized pistons go up by 1/100 of an inch .01 .02 .03 going by memory on that.

Here is a 1969 Honda CB750 That I restored. I bought the bike as a parts bike. The owner took the engine apart and then lost interest. When I saw that the engine cases were sand cast and the oil filter cover did not have cooling fins I knew this was a first year Honda CB750.
