Hey all, need some advice on restoring a 1970 Rupp Scrambler. The gas tank had dings on both front corners due to fork travel too far on each side. The Tank is fixed but I don't want it to happen again. I was thinking of welding on some 1/4 round stock maybe 1/2" or 3/4" on each side of down tube to stop travel. Before I did that I wanted to see if anyone has any other ideas.
I have a 1970 Rupp Scrambler that I am trying to restore. I am looking for help with parts and original paint colors where to find them. Where to have items re-chromed? Any help is appreciated
