Ok so it seems like most or all? Engines used in minibikds are not st any risk of being damaged by running a straight pipe with no muffler. Is this correct? The only risk is that they are noisy? But the small engines pick up a little performance with a straight pipe too? Thanks for any info.

What is the reasoning behind swaping the intake and exhaust ports to diff sides on the HS engine? Or is this not true of all of them anyway? At least all the HS motors I have are intake on the left/ exhaust on the right. Why did Tecumseh do that?
