Anyone? I have 2 hs50's I am working on. I'd like to do away with the points on these and came across this Nova 2 ignition module. I see a guy putting it on a briggs in this video. Has anyone used these on the hs50 Tecumseh engines? https://youtu.be/t3RI05TUSVs

Brand new, still in box, never been mounted solid state coil for Briggs. I ordered the wrong one for the motor I was working on. Part number is 440-401 and replaces Brigg's #397358. I paid $35.00 but the first $15.00 takes it. I'll pay shipping. PM me if interested. Ogy

I've searched and searched and found that I can easily remove the low oil sensor issue by just snipping the wire but I can't seem to find any info on what that small square module does that is connected to the oil sensor. It appears to me that after cutting the sensor wire I should be able to...

I forget what the Yamaha guys call em now.. :laugh: The "Black Box" that causes your spark to go to hell.. :glare: I'm gonna tear mine apart and try to fix it....Might be in the market for one though.. :shrug: Not totally worthless to try.. Probably a long shot though... 82 Virago 500 black box...
