I just purchased a super tryke with tech hm 80, no spark at first after switching out point I now get spark, but only with the motor is turning is the wrong direction? any ideas?, and does anyone know what wires go to the panel on the side of the motor where the fuse goes

i think theres oil on my spark plug. i had the back tire on a stand cause i was moving the engine up to tighten the chain and now it wont start. it startd if i clean the spark plug then it starts for like 20 seconds and stalls and its black again. what do i dod

I have. A three horse brigs, I think it is. I was checking to see if it has a apark and it only sparks 1 out of every 15 times its turned over. I don't know if its the spark plug ot the something to do with the wireing. Any ideas?

Can get no spark from this engine. When I crank it I'm getting electric shock on my fingers but no spark. Was advised to clean the points and I did it but still no spark. Should I change coil?
