Picked up an early Manco Thunderbird Mini Bike this weekend and it has the old 10" x 2.5" wheel wheels with the large slots wheels. Any idea what year thay stopepd using the 10" Wheels and went to the 8" I'm trying to estimate the year on this thing and so far no luck.

A lovely near complete craigslist find. Kid and his dad couldn't get the motor to run.. but I did! Probably restore this for my next project.

Frame is $50 plus shipping........................ complete roller Wheel $15 plus shipping Wheel has some very small nicks in the outside casting. Not chunks, and nothing that would hinder a person from using it. Just not for a show bike.

This is my 2001 Manco Thunderbird as I got it. I'm going to turn it into something like a bobber or board track racer. I cut off the shock mounts, removed the tank, seat, chain guard, ground the seat mount off, etc. More to come.
