1.3 rockers in B&S animal

Would there be any performance gain by installing 1.3 rockers and proper springs in an otherwise stock animal? Thanks

Roughly 30℅ more lift on the stock 256 lift cam and it speeds up your ramp and a couple other things that I would have to write 3 paragraphs to explain .. if you have a little port work as well you would see performance gains in the higher rpm range but not so much on the low and mid range

Thanks, I figured it would help but did not know where in the rpm range.

the added ratio increases lift and duration, which will raise your power band. You also have to be concerned with coil bind in your springs! ...and don't forget to check piston to valve clearance. Float the valves and they will clearance on their own!
