Thats my problem, the profile says 3/4 to one gal of gas. But the tag on my power head says 1 pint to one gal of gas. I will go with the metal tag on my power head but just wanted some input befor I fired it up. Its never been run. the box it came out of has 12-9-60 on it. RC

It says to use 30W oil on the tag. Would I be better off with the modern Quicksilver TWC or Echo two stroke , or????? too many choices RC

If it were mine I think I would run with a straight SAE 30 (non detergent) as this is what it originally ran on.
Does it actually call out for 30W?
The "W" indicates winter which becomes important on a 4 cycle engine.
Avoid oil that says TCW3 or TCWIII as these are for outboard (water cooled) applications which tend to run cooler.
