I am looking to for the proper gear ratio to make this thing work with the presently mounted Tecumseh 2 stroke (2.5hp?)
On the rear wheel I have a 39 tooth #41 sprocket. Looks like most common clutch's that are #41 are 10 tooth (would about 4:1). I was told this ratio will not work and that I should be looking for something more like 6:1, also that #35 chain might be the way to go. This will mean a new rear sprocket. It sure would be nice to find one that would bolt right on, center is about 1 1/2, but I have no idea how to measure the bolt pattern, they are 2 1/16ths apart on center and about 7/8th's from the edge of center hole.
Tires are 13x10.
