No one makes performance parts for the 97cc,. No billet rods or flywheels, no hp cams, ect....

You can modify an air fliter for it, prob bore the carb, eliminate the govenor and make a header but thats about it...

A 6.5HP engine and a new clutch is only about $150.00. Even if there were any hi-po parts for the 2.8, $150.00 would probably boost it to about 4 or 5HP and the 6.5 would still have gobs more torque.

Thanks guys for the info. One last question about the 97 cc Baja engine . Is it a clone of the Honda GX 100 ??? Does anybody out there know ? Thanks again for the help.

it's a clone of the Honda G100, not GX100.
